Mary O’Mara joins us as the new Director of Finance and Human Resources!
Mary has been a manager in Human Resource for the last 15 years. She has an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in finance and business.
Each 6-week Series will consist of weekly 90 minute sessions covering a wide range of wellness topics including emotional, physical and financial. Each topic will be facilitated by different speakers who specialize in their field.
Our first 6 week Series will begin on Thursday October 10th at 6:00 PM. A new Wellness experience will be engaged each week.

Each session is only $10 and a sliding fee scale is available. We even have special pricing if you would like to sign up for all 6 sessions. Childcare is also available for an additional modest fee.

Each Board of Directors’ meeting includes an ‘Agency Status Report’ which begins with a very important number, how often we were able to place a clinician in front of a person in need of help. This, quite correctly, prioritizes what is important to the agency.
We are all here in an effort to assist others in their personal growth and help mitigate their pain as much as possible. Our Clinical Contacts for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 totaled 6,310. Although small compared to large systems and agencies and perhaps large to others, it is huge to those who have been helped.
Through Placer County Office of Education, Sierra Mental Wellness Group is excited to provide a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training opportunity this month! Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th!
The management and staff at Sierra Mental Wellness Group are thrilled to congratulate our
December marks the beginning of an enhanced management structure within the agency, which includes the development of two new positions at SMWG.
The first new position is the Operations Manager, who reports directly to the Finance and Human Resources Director and the Executive Director. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the programs and clinical services offered by the agency, including oversight and program functions, intake, client services, regulatory compliance and quality assurance, identification and development of new programs, and integration/coordination of agency clinical services and program components within the agency and with providers in the community.
Nicole Vanneman, LMFT will be the Operations Manager for the agency. Nicole has been in our Functional Family Therapist position for the past several years and will be a valuable asset to our management team.
The second new position is the Operations Coordinator. This position reports to the Operations Manager, Finance
